Line Up

Put them in order. All of them.

Tied tiles can go either way round. Pick a pack below to play classic, or play today’s daily.

The four packs

Knowing which of two things came first is a hunch. Knowing the order of five is a set of hunches that all have to agree, and it is the disagreements that make a round.

Questions

How long does a run last?
Classic deals three to six tiles a round and has no round limit. You start with three lives, a round that does not clear costs one, and five cleared in a row earn one back, up to five. The run ends with the last life. The daily is five rounds and deals three to six tiles a round, and every round is played whether or not the last one cleared.
What counts as a near miss?
A line that is not in order, but would be if you swapped one pair of neighbouring tiles — one swap off. It is still a wrong answer. In classic it still costs a life, like any other round that does not clear. In the daily it scores nothing, and shows amber rather than red when you share.
How is Line Up different from Outdo?
Outdo shows two things and asks one question about them. Line Up deals three to six at once and asks for the whole order, and the round only clears when every tile is where it belongs. The same facts serve both: each Line Up pack is drawn from an Outdo pack, and the two pages link each other.
